About Me
2021 Hall of Famer - Southern Illinois University Carbondale
I’m Cartaesha Macklin—Hall of Famer, former guard, and founder of CLM Basketball. I’ve played this game at a high level and learned that the real wins are in discipline, composure, and mastering the fundamentals when the moment gets loud.

My journey wasn’t perfect—setbacks, doubt, and closed doors tried to write my story. The chances were slim, but I chose to own the odds. I built better habits, developed my game, and became the leader my teams needed.

Now I train athletes to do the same. From player to coach, at CLM, I build skill that translates and character that travels. If you’re willing to work with honesty and intensity, I’ll meet you there—with teaching, standards, and belief. The goal isn’t just to play; it's to become.
